Hmm. This should be fun. I've got a number of quotes I've been wanting to stitch. Assuming television series count as well...

there arent any restrictions on type of craft...you can do anything.

This is pretty huge. It's at 320x144. But when I was walking around thinking about quotes Star Wars really got stuck in my head.
After I made it, it actually hit me that I wouldn't be surprised if the line is used in the game. It would be standard Lucasart humor.
The quote is slightly modified, because it made it a great lot funnier imho.

mud, what font did you use on that? I've been searching for the LucasArts Adventure game font for a while.

Font? I just took a bunch of screenshots, copy and pasted the right letters, placed it inline and then corrected all the neighbouring pixels
Now that I think about it, it would have been easier to get the right text, make the bg transparent, place it as a second layer above the screenshot and then merge layers. Will do that next time

I made two other ones as well but they didn't look as good. A screenshot of Guybrush outside of the SCUMM-bar and one of him inside, with the quote in the Purple font of the "Look at"-line.

Nice, I had thought about that as well, but wanted to freedom a type set would allow. I found a font close to it, but never came across even a name of what they used, which makes me assume it's some proprietary font that exists only in the LucasArts Adventures.

I had thought about creating a scene of Monkey Island showing Guybrush covered in monkeys and the text to read, "Get your hands off me, you d#%@ dirty apes!"

Dubious cross-stitching linguistics and simple lack of time have prevented me though, alas.

I think I have such a cute idea for this but I'm not joining it, since I don't know how to make patterns and I'm kinda newbie in cross-stitching and I dont even have a frame (I think this is the name for it.. sorry about my english, I'm brazilian but kinda lazy to learn more vocabulary u_u)
