First, my TOS Star Trek Cross Stitch
I love TOS Star Trek, there's just something really lovely about it. A certain magic with the way in which the characters deal with the situations they face.
So, each of the characters stitched in their corresponding primary uniform colour.
Stitched on 28ct, with one thread over one, the finished stitching is 7.5" square. The little square badges are also stitched on 28ct, with one thread over one. The little figurines I did not make, nor the awesome piece of glassware which totally looks like a phaser.
This is something of an 'epic' for me because of how long it took, given that I only really worked on it during holidays and did a lot of other projects at the same time, also the 28ct was tiny!
This was my first big project done without a kit!

Next, Once Upon A Time:
A homage to the Disney princesses, a big part of my childhood.
Stitched on 28ct with two threads over two, the wording is done in metallic gold and metallic black, one strand of each.

Finally (for this post), Gotta Wear 'em All, a charm bracelet of the Kanto gym badges:
For me, the original Red, Blue and Yellow, set in Kanto are the only real pokemon.
Also a game I grew up with and spent hours on, getting a magikarp to evolve into a gyarados...
Stitched on 28ct with one thread, they are double sided. I stitched the image on one piece of material, with the top stitch to the bottom right, then stitched the mirror image on another piece with the top stitch to the bottom left. These pieces are sewn together and I sealed it with glue to add some durability. I use this technique a lot with 18ct canvas to make earrings, keychains and such.
