oooooh *****
i just measured my breath of fire eye and i do have a problem...
its 15,2 cm x 16cm....16cm is a lil bit more then 6in.. to make it 15,2 x 15,2 cm i would need to rip off 5 lines from my work, but then it would be 96x91...
i dont know why its not a square since its 96x96... bad baaaad aida.. D:

So, I know that I'm too late to get a square done for this year's quilt (I'm a SUPER slow stitcher), but I was wondering if this would work for me to start on for next year's quilt. It's an image of Lissa from Fire Emblem Awakening. Should I put it on my to-do list for 2015's quilt or scrap it? Input on the idea is appreciated!

I like it. You can definitely get a head start on next years quilt. I will probably put the sign up earlier this year, maybe right after the deadline of Sept 1. Just make sure if anyone wasn't able to finish their square or is starting early for next year you must sign it up RIGHT AWAY. If someone else takes your game first, then it has to wait another year.tybear009 wrote:So, I know that I'm too late to get a square done for this year's quilt (I'm a SUPER slow stitcher), but I was wondering if this would work for me to start on for next year's quilt. I'll watch for next year's sign up sheet like a hawk, then! Thank you for the input, by the way. I really liked the image, but I'm biased, so I wasn't sure if it would be acceptable. Has anyone ever done a Super Mario Sunshine? If I start now, maybe I could get a few done by next year's deadline.tnitnetny wrote:I like it. You can definitely get a head start on next years quilt. All of the previous squares plus this year's sign up can be found in the first post.

I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to finish mine AGAIN this year. I was counting on a bunch of hours while I was a car passenger, but apparently I get car sick when I stitch in the car! So yeah. I'll be one of the first on that sign up sheet so that this thing can get quilted finally!

Ugh...I can barely do anything in the car. Stitch, read, nothin'. It sucks.SheWhoRoars wrote:I was counting on a bunch of hours while I was a car passenger, but apparently I get car sick when I stitch in the car!

I thought I was the only one! I get vicious headaches whenever I try to read/cross stitch/look at my phone in a car.Kareesh wrote:Ugh...I can barely do anything in the car. Stitch, read, nothin'. Mine slightly starts with a headache, but it quickly moves to me being nauseated. Been like that ever since I was a kid. It wasn't a road trip unless I got sick in the car.
