Re: What are you watching now and why?
I just broke down and watched Orange is the New Black. I have been putting it off because a lot of what my father recommends to me ends up being stuff I get hooked on (it all started with the X-Files in the 90's lol). Sure enough...now my father and I have been chatting about when the new season starts. In the meantime, my father and I have been watching Sailor Moon on Hulu. He is only watching it because it's reminiscent of when my brother and I were kids...I'm watching it because I love Sailor Moon and my kids love the show now, too.

To whom ever sent me the boxset of the first series of Fringe, thank you so much! An unexpected early birthday present, there was no note or return address with it so I dunno who sent it. It looks really interesting, i'll get straight to it once my eye is better!

Fringe is pretty good. The father in it is hilarious. For some reason my husband couldn't get into it (he said it was interesting, but he personally found it a bit slow or something) so we don't watch it too much. Someday I may get around to watching it, but I have a ton of other shows I need to get through first.QueenBex wrote:To whom ever sent me the boxset of the first series of Fringe, thank you so much! At the moment, I'm watching the Harry Potter movies. I never got past the PoA film as they were coming out, so watching the later ones has been a bit of a treat. I finished watching HBP last night, so I'll watch DH parts one and two this weekend. Once I'm done with those, I'll be re-watching Buffy. About once a year, I get the urge to re-watch it and do it in a marathon setting with lots of snacks!

Just finished re-watching the first season of American Horror Story and started re-watching the second. I've been on a real horror kick lately so I was not only reading it, but watching as well.
I've also been catching Wil Wheaton's show (mostly in re-runs because I always forget to watch it live and our DVR is on the fritz) and I gotta say that I will always love that man.

Really? I do love him, but I haven't been won over on that show yet.BooChocoBoom wrote: I've also been catching Wil Wheaton's show (mostly in re-runs because I always forget to watch it live and our DVR is on the fritz) and I gotta say that I will always love that man.
We started/finished re-watching Chaos this weekend. There was like 12 episodes before they cancelled the spy drama, but its sooooooo damn good. Probably at least the third or fourth time we've watched the whole thing. FYI though, the order it aired in didn't make much sense (probably why they cancelled it), but if you find the order its meant to be in its just fantastic. Plus, hot Scottish man. /swoon

Re: What are you watching now and why?
Just finished Young Justice the other night and wrapped up all of Warehouse 13 that's available on Amazon Prime. Man, why are all the good shows so short-lived? I mean, I guess five seasons for WH13 isn't bad, but two seasons for YJ was a crime. Those guys are supposed to fight crime, not perpetuate it.
While I wait for Agents and Arrow to start their new seasons, I'm in the market for something Netflix / Hulu / Amazon Prime accessible. If it's on Hulu, it's best if it's not rolling (i.e. I can start at episode 1 and work from there). Any suggestions?

Oh my!! Fringe is amazing! I love it!! And still no one has come forward about sending it to me, my brother reckons it's a conspiracy by the Fringe fandom to gain new members. If so, it worked, i'm a total fan now.

Let's see...our DVR catch-up....
Finished the last two episodes of this season of Game of Thrones. Don't want to say too much for those that haven't caught up but...valar morghulis!
Also watched the first two episodes of the new season of Suits and Murder in the First. Malfoy with an American accent is...strange! lol

True, but he goes sans shirt, so yay!MeiTow wrote:Also watched the first two episodes of the new season of Suits and Murder in the First. Malfoy with an American accent is...strange! lol
I'm re-watching Breaking Bad, this time with my dad since he didn't watch it when it was on. Given the level he fan-boy'd over Game of Thrones, I don't know how it's going to turn out!
