Re: New Zelda stained glass Updated 2/11 page 8
I finally got time to work on Zelda again!!!! Sorry it has been such a long time but I'm hoping to work on her regularly through August. After that I have to start X-mas presents. I'll post again at the end of the month to show how far I was able to get!

Looks so beautiful. Sorry if you've said this somewhere before, but is that normal cotton floss, or is it satin? Looks super shiny!

Every time I see this piece I almost faint from the gorgeousness.

Thanks everyone!
Kareesh - I use the normal DMC floss (I think it's cotton). I've found that depending on the stitches I use and the direction I sew in, it can cause the thread to play with the light. It's a pretty neat trick that I wasn't expecting when I started this project.

Cotton is the normal, yeah. But it looks so shiny that I thought it must have been their silks. Beautiful!Siva wrote:Thanks everyone!
