Actually, throughout the stitching of this, I've gone through many strategies :D
- I started out in the corner on the right bottom. Going by the pages, one by one...
- After about 15 pages I combined a whole row, trying to finish that before xxxx (where xxxx would be the end of the holiday, the month, the year... whatever)...
- That didn't work so I went back to the pages... But this time, I made my own pages with grids of 50x50 (and 56 on the sides) stitches. This way I could finish a page faster and I figured that would keep me motivated more... And it did..... for about 4 pages :D
- Then I did a little till the end of the row again.
- I was now about halfway, and decided I would first finish all of the black! And because I was about to go on holiday again, I printed out a pattern with only black and 5 other colors (a yellow, a green, a red and a blue and white!). That way I would only have to take a few colors, and 6 big sheets of pattern (printed on A3 paper-size).
- After those colors I really liked working by color, so did that a few colors more! But than I got blocked by the colors and made a few to many mistakes because I couldn't related the positions of the new stitching against the ones allready done... this was not going to work anymore.
- Back to pages of 50x50, but now from the top right corner. And when almost finished I took the pages next to it along with it. But again, unsatisfying :D
- Now I'm working by color but with my laptop in front of me, KG-chart on it, working my way through the last parts... this is working, but requires me to have my laptop with me when I stitch.

I'm not saying I won't think of something else again, before finishing it (was thinking of going back to pages again last night in bed haha), but I will finish it! :tease:
I debated going color by color, but like you said, I predicted that I would ultimately have problems with positoning the stitches. That's why I'm going Pokemon by Pokemon, row by row. I figure this way, it breaks it up into 151 mini 'projects' so I feel a little bit better everytime I complete one xD Although it does seem to use a bit more thread, and I do block out anytime theres colors I'm using in the next Pokemon. It's definitely a slow progress, but it's interesting to see how everyone is tackling this monster of a project!

I started today! :yahoo:

I got Bulbasaur and a little bit of Caterpie done. I really like the way it looks from a distance. Bulbasaur looks so 3D-y

Looks great! I'm always amazed at how awesome they look when they're finished. And that last color seems to always make the biggest difference, lol.

I have taken a small Hiatus from doing this myself. I found myself getting frustrated with it, and it didnt help my dog ate half the cloth and my pattern, AFTER eating the plastic tote I kept all my stuffs in. I'm gonna rebuy all the threads and make it a kit and add it to my list of projects.

I have been debating doing this pattern for a little while after I came across lizardlea videos on YouTube and have started it this past few weeks. I am starting in top right hand corner.

I've mostly been doing black. On the left, I've reached the top. And now I'm stitching the black from the bottom 5 pages, so I can fill in the colours more easy. I've just been doing the stitches per rows of 10, so I don't make that many mistakes (or I hope so).

I love that you can already make out Pokémon from the black :D

Hi everyone! Just popping in to give my most recent update. The Eevee line is officially finished! I also filled in most of the gaps that I had left behind because to short thread, changed page and didn't notice the stitches, etc. I"ve been busy trying to move, so I'm kinda working less and less on it. But any progress is better than none ^ ^
