I have a question, I uh...am not that great at keeping a clean back of the project. Is that going to be an issue? I mean, I will definitely make a conscious effort to keep it clean!
Not a problem. Clean backs are nice and important when framing, but the batting will accept clean or messy backs. Be as messy as you want to!
Oh, and something I am thinking about doing for my Craft Hackers site that I would like opinions on.
I am thinking of video taping me putting together the charity quilts and assembling them. Not really a step by step tutorial (although quilters will definitely be able to figure out how I do it and can do their own), but more of a "behind the scenes". I would probably put it up on the site about a week before the Penny Arcade dinner to raise more awareness of our quilts. What do you think?

That sucks hardcore. I got mine at JoAnn's. They have only one slot for 18 count and all the rest is 16 and 14. So much 14 count. When I'm buying bigger cuts of any count I use Herrschners website. They have surprisingly cheap cloth, in both their brand and craftways. Especially for any REALLY BIG projects. A 29' by 2 yard cut of 18 count is like 20? And they're based in the U.S. and Canada, so they have decently cheap shipping. I think I paid $5 for in on the 2 yard piece. It also shipped pretty fast. All in all I was pleased Just in case you were wondering an online place to buy from since your DC area seems to be struggling in the world of craftiness.
I did change the size of the aida needed so that may help you guys. You won't need as much around the picture. I am comfortable enough with trimming it now that I don't need a lot of extra in case I make a mistake.
i rly wanted to join but not sure if my entry would be valid.
guess its a little bit weird haha.
its a cutscene from Breath of Fire 2. i would stitch only the eye, without the box under it..

That would be awesome to see
