Hi.
I´ve been browsing a while for a decant pattern of a good dragon. I want it to look "realistic", meaning like the hungarian horntal or any other movie dragon, or a good scetcht dragon for example a book cover (like the swedish Eragon books). I dont have any real demands of what dragon it is if it looks good. I will post some links to some pics I like but a pattern dont neccecery need to be one of them, only in the same kind of style, not the stupid cartoon dragons or the anorectic chineese dragons. Patten dont need to be of a full dragon, the head is the most important even i the body or part of it wolud be great if it dont look to messy. Mabye I am asking for the impossible but its worth a tyr. I prefer stitching on 14 or 16 cnt. white aida. Number of threds (DMC) dont realy matter though Im glad if its no more than a hundred (even if im willing to try a thousand if it would give the best resoult). Size im not realy shure of. I think the larges width my local store can manage is 1,5 meter (59") and erase an inch or two in each side for framing makes about 55" (1,4 meter). I can probably measure up any leangh/hight that a pattern can logicly measure but sicne aida isnt very cheep im glad if its not to large.

PS. Dont overkill youself with anything. If you think its an impossible task, drop it and let me know you oppinion, even if its bad or insulting for my ignorecne. DS.

Re: Dragon Pattern
With the amount of detail you want, the design would be quite large.
There are a few good sites out there with free patters. Try this one http://www.cross-stitch-pattern.net/Fre ... harts.aspx
This pattern is from there and looks pretty good... Or this one... (Neither of these are my design, I just found them on the interwebs...full credit goes to the designers of course)

Re: Dragon Pattern
Found one on DeviantArt the artist put up and said free to use. You can make it any color you want. She had one finished she had up too and it looks really good when it's done.
Here is a pic of it with the colors shown on the pattern - http://santian69.deviantart.com/art/Dra ... -168244783
And here with green instead - http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Green- ... -193663995
