Servotron's Cucco Avalanche WIP!

Post by CrazyCucco11 »

I am such a huge fan of Servo's Cucco Avalanche pattern that i decided to take the plunge and stitch it. This is the largest, most time-consuming project that i have started so far (I'm new at this)! This is what it looks like after 1 week of stitching. I work nights in a 24 hr call center, so i started stitching for something to do between calls. I'll post how it looks week after week until it's done! BTW, special thanks to servotron for making this pattern! As you can see, i am doing one color at a time, starting with the pewter. So far, i haven't even messed up my counting (fingers crossed that i don't)! :tri

This pattern has been on my "list"for quite a while! It is encouraging to see someone else tackle it-- and do such a lovely job with it!

Keep posted updates!!

Thank you for the compliments/ encouragement! I just finished outlining the cuccos on the left side of the pattern! Feels good to be done with those!

I have also been doing this project =] I'm actually almost done with it. I took a break from the huge Super Mario World map I've been working and this is what I've been stitching.

Good luck with yours =]

I've been wanting to do this pattern since I found this site. Maybe I'll take a break from the Super Mario World map, someday, too.

I'm doing this one too!! But it's on hold while I make presents for the holidays... I think I might start doing the outlines first though, it seems to go quicker for you than what I'm doing. :)

Oh yeah. Just go color by color. Doing all the outlines first was easy for me. Its like-you cant color in a coloring book until you have the guidelines. Keep it up! The pewter (blackish grey) took me a week.
