The bag is pretty, but I think the shoes are kinda hideous. Maybe if it was not on the toe of the shoe and just on the heel it would be better.

I agree - or more subtly on the toe!

Those bags that BMH linked to are PRETTY.
Though if I was to make one for myself, i'd replace those butterflies with a Butterfree, Venomoth and Volcarona.

Those shoes are awful! There is no way I would pay $2K for a purse, cross-stitched or not! Jeez....

And no, there's no guarantee it was done by hand - it's just a VERY expensive brand.

I'll be honest, I'm not gone on the shoes. I'd be more inclined to stitch a pair of flats for myself to match. Actually seriously considering doing a bag for myself, but quite sure by e time I finished it it would be spring... So maybe I should do brighter colors?

But a handbag with a cross stitched video game flower like Shaymin's flower from Pokemon, now that would be cute. Or the Pokemon berries. I want to cross stitch a cornucopia with the Pokemon berries at some point.

So I just have the flower on my desk!
