Ok...so I may have pushed myself a little too hard and burned out a little. Oops.

Actually, what happened was that Hubby made me take a break from it to KEEP me from burning out completely. I wasn't allowed to touch it for a week. One week. Oops.

Needless to say, it sat in the corner, still on it's scroll frame since I stopped (probably right around the last post made here) until earlier this week. Hubby has been trying to motivate me to start it again, but thinking about the scale of the project when I'm not focused on one little part just feels like (sorry, i'm enjoying the smilies today. Maybe I need ) Then I recently went on a kick of watching AVGN on youtube, and he keeps showing stuff from LTTP - usually only when talking about games that are similar in concept to the Zelda series, but he has a few Zelda rants (mostly at the CD-I ones). Anyway, to bring the crazy rambling back full circle, I'm BACK!!!!

Also, I completed another page! (to be fair, it was about 1/2 done when I 'took a break'). I'm not planing on getting too crazy back into it, but I would like to finish it sometime before 2020, so I do have to keep working on it.

I'm still only about 1/4 done stitch-wise, but I still have 1 full size row below this one and a half row before Dark World is finished. Also, the colors look a little washed out because apparently the phone won't focus if the flash isn't on, but it doesnt need the flash because it has plenty of light. And now that my inner crazy is flapping for the world to see, I'm gonna slowly back up and go back to netflix and stitching for a few more hours

We all burn out sometimes - but it's always good if you can get back into a project!

It didn't hurt that I was actually seeing screenshots of the project and kept going 'Hey!! I'm making that!' The lighthouse that I got in 2005 is still like 1/3 done.

The greens and browns all look really similar when I'm looking at them up close, but when I see them from a distance, they look really nuanced. I'm loving how it was coming out!!!!!

But I must say, you're crazy to do it on black fabric! I've almost finished a Portal project on black evenweave and I use white thread only and it still burns my eyes when I stitch for too long! How can you see all the darker colors? (like the forest for example).
