For the background, does the whole 64x64 area need to be filled in?

No, not if you don't want to!Jerallyn wrote:For the background, does the whole 64x64 area need to be filled in?

blackmageheart wrote:It is quite small, yes. I didn't want to make it too big as you only have a month for each part and I know that sometimes backgrounds can be hard to do in a short time.Myu wrote:I love the ideabut 64x64 is very tiny
I don't know if I can fit the 3 parts on it.
I hope you can find a way to fit things together!
If we do fill it all in, and usually for backgrounds you need to, that is 4,096 stitches. That'll take some time!blackmageheart wrote:No, not if you don't want to!Jerallyn wrote:For the background, does the whole 64x64 area need to be filled in?
This is a fabulous, crabulous idea. All hail blackmageheart!

Does anyone have a conversion table for BMH "casual stitching" rates to normal people stitching rates?blackmageheart wrote:I have done a couple of pieces that exact size, took me a week each, casual stitching

Oh man, I finished my pattern but clearly was too excited to read to the bottom of the first post. It is twice too big.
Now I'm trying to choose between just doing it anyway and being "ineligible" but awesome, or coming up with a completely different idea.

This made me lol. Such a thing surely does not exist!RMDC wrote:Does anyone have a conversion table for BMH "casual stitching" rates to normal people stitching rates?
I do think that 4096 stitches can be done by anyone in a month, easily. You'd only have to do 136.5 stitches every day in June!

No way you can just crop the design down? Sounds like you have a good idea, and I'd love to see it entered.funkymonkey wrote:Oh man, I finished my pattern but clearly was too excited to read to the bottom of the first post. It is twice too big.![]()

Re: APR-JUN: Series of Challenges!
So for part one I was thinking of using a character that is also holding an item/weapon... is that kosher?
