How did you get your stitching to fit to the button so perfectly? Did you use one of those button-making thingies? :OJokeOFaRomantiic wrote:AHHH I'm so glad you like your gifts, about22over7.I was worried after seeing everyone elses awesome (mostly larger) gifts that mine was kind of small. LIMH - I got the button kits from JoAnn. This is what I used for the buttons, and then just hot glued these to the back. I'm not sure of their staying power - those three were the first ones I've made.

BMH-could we pretty please with a cherry on top get a pattern for the emerald/ruby/sapphire? Those are gorgeous and I must make them for myself!

Ditto! Absolutely love those gifts, but I do tend to go a little crazy over almost anything Zelda related... back to watching the mailbox...LinkIsMyHomeboy wrote:I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely jealous I am of Rawrmonster's gift. There are no words. Excellent job, BMH! Gorgeous!

Ok ok ok, I SWEAR mine is going to be shipped in a few days. It turned out WAY bigger than I thought, but I'm really hoping my partner will think it was well worth the wait! Back to stitching!

It was a lot of sizing then resizing. I think I stitched about two of them before I found the dimensions that fit right. Even so, the cape Mario I think should be a bit smaller, but then the sprite wouldn't have looked right. :/DuckyBelkins wrote:How did you get your stitching to fit to the button so perfectly? Everyone's gifts are wonderful! BMH, you did go all out!
I have to say, I'm so glad to be on this board and part of the swap. This is a great group of generous people.

With this being the first swap I have ever participated in, I think you have done a wonderful job. It makes me want to continue participating in more swaps and challenges, and also do my best to become more of a contributor to the community here!blackmageheart wrote:I enjoyed organising the swap for you all, I hope I did a good job! ^^
