Current Projects:
Link and Triforce Square = 56% complete.
Kanto Map = 60% complete.
Hetalia sprites for Xmas presents. Other projects will be put on hold until these are done. Shouldn't take long though. :3

Re: what does the forum need?
How about a forum area that we can make posts per Game series. Say we have a FF, Zelda, Mario, Chrono Trigger, Harvest moon topics in it. And we can discuss the games and float and brainstorm pattern/craft ideas in them?

Re: what does the forum need?
I noticed a few posts made my the mods, such as people being awarded pattern maker badges, etc and thought to myself, there should be a little thing at the top of the forum that has news that only mods can edit.
This like: new challenge started, voting now open, awards, and other things of note.
That way no one would miss the voting polls, or come in late to a competition, which I have seen some people do before...
Just a thought

A great idea. We could have a news/announcements board, and/or make announcements global (meaning they would appear in the announcements section of all boards). There are a bunch of phpBB mods for this kind of thing, we should look and see if there's any really good ones that would do a good jobLord Libidan wrote:I noticed a few posts made my the mods, such as people being awarded pattern maker badges, etc and thought to myself, there should be a little thing at the top of the forum that has news that only mods can edit.

Re: what does the forum need?
I was thinking more of a global announcement, I got the idea from another forum actually, it was just a three line white space at the top of the page with a small sentence, little link to it and the date posted. I would be surprised if there is ever more than 3 news bulletins at once... :/blackmageheart wrote:A great idea. Glad you like the idea though

Re: what does the forum need?
As we have a new pattern request section, should we also have two "official pattern maker" badges, one for each?

Could you also ake the mods a different color for their name as well? With Johloh not around as much it is hard to tell who to go to for probles/suggestions/etc.

Not sure if it's strictly necessary but could be interesting! Encouraging people to make patterns of all kinds etcLord Libidan wrote:As we have a new pattern request section, should we also have two "official pattern maker" badges, one for each?
On the same subject, do you (and indeed everyone) think there should be some sort of Pattern Maker ranks - for 10+ patterns, 20+ patterns, etc?
That's a good idea, when the mods are online our names look just like everyone else's. Changing the colour would be a job for johloh, though, as I'm pretty sure that requires admin privileges.tnitnetny wrote:Could you also ake the mods a different color for their name as well? Also, there's the link at the bottom of the board that says "The team" - that could be used until the colours are changed
