It's getting so big! I am loving this. It really looks good with the dark fabric, makes it pop out even more.

Is that 18 count black? If so, can I ask you where you got it? I can't seem to find any anywhere unless I want to spend like $45

If I remember right it's either 18 or 16, it was supposed to be 22, I started working on it and realized it was wrong, but I already had one character done and I didnt feel like having to start all over again so I will have to add some fabric on the bottom and on the right side to finish the piece

I actually got the fabric cut for me at a local cross stitch store here in Reno, otherwise I would have never found it!

for black aida have you tried http://www.123stitch.com? I was able to get a 20 by 24 piece of 16 count black aida for $15. Im not sure if they ship outside of the US though. They are a great source for fabic with a huge selection.

How's this going? I've just undertaken the task of stitching donkey kong from the individual sprites that he put up and that is 12000 stitches, i couldn't imagine stitching all that on black aida its horrible stuff! You must have the patience of a saint

Edit - i forgot to say how amazing this looks! i remember seeing it with just olimar when i was here last and now its really coming along. Possibly the best piece i've seen on the forums
