Warcraft II Battle.net edition - many, many LAN games with my brother and sister. Other games have been ditched in favour of hours of warring! (Of course, like many things in my house, this is probably a phase and we'll be on something else next week ^^)

I swear I made this same post back in like 1996. I stayed up every night for weeks playing my friends in warcraft ii and command and conquer over our blazing fast 56k modems. my parents used to get * because I was blocking the phone lines...

I wasn't allowed a modem until about 1999 but when I did I had the same thing. LAN games were nothing compared to the magic of online! And my mother would sit and imagine hundreds of pound coins rolling down the internet cable and out of the house...

my boyfriend just bought Scribblenauts which I've also started playing. It's hilarious and frustrating at the same time.

I am re-playing Red Dead Redemption while I ponder whether or not to pony up the cash for Fable III when it drops in a week or so. RDR is definitely one of the best of this generation if you ask me.

I know at the Gamestop I work at they have the date set in the States as April 1st, 2011. That's being used as a placeholder date so people can still reserve the game, normally first party Nintendo game come out on Sundays. We haven't even heard what the pre-order bonus will be, so I very much doubt it's coming out until the 3rd quarter of 2011. Most likely about this time or a little earlier next year, Nintendo loves to release stuff right before Christmas. Hopefully that gives you a little more time to prepare.

I'm not playing too many video games since I'm trying to get as much as possible done for my wedding next summer, here's what I have:

DS: Scribblenauts and the Chrono Trigger remake
Wii: Super Paper Mario (first Paper Mario game I've ever played, need to get the others)

Do want: all of the GBA remakes of the original NES games. Mmmmmm.

picked up folklore for super cheap the other day, so i've been playin that. can't believe i never got it before now, lol...

it's fun :o i like the whole celtic sorta theme

the controls are super annoying tho (the sixaxis specifically.)
