PC stitch error

Hey everyone. I have a question that I haved searched for the solution for a while now, and can't find anything. Figured maybe you guys could help. I have PCstich 7, and it opens the patterns I make perfectly. But when I try to open anything saved from Sprite Stich, it says error code 1. Does anyone know how to fix this? I was thinking that maybe you all were using a newer version than mine, and maybe thats my problem. I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!

Are you starting PCStitch and then opening the file? I found that if i just double click on the file it brings up an error but if i actually go to file>open>example.sth then it works fine

Yea I've tried both ways. Opening Pc stitch first, then the file, and just trying to open the file. I even updated my version. It still isn't working tho.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling PCStitch? Also, try re-downloading the file(s) you want to open. If these don't work either post back here or PM me and I'll get my tech support hat on

Ok, so I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling pcstitch. That didn't work. I also tried re downloading the files and that didn't work either. I am getting the same error: Error Code - 1 opening c:\Users\Sarah\documents\my cross stitch patterns\yoshiandpals70.pat

I really appreciate you trying to help me! I downloading the .pdf file, but its usually easier to stitch when I can see it in color! Thanks again Blackmageheart!
