I can pretty much stitch to whatever. Movies, shows, music, audiobooks. I can't do anything with subtitles, though, for obvious reasons. I usually pick a show/movie I have already seen as to not miss anything from something I haven't, but I have been known to stitch during new stuff, too. Drives my hubby nuts when we're watching something neither of us has seen and I stitch. He says it's because he can't have the lights off, but I think he's secretly jealous of my multi-tasking abilities. Haha.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I'm definitely going to check out some of these. For now, I found out they did a spin off/sequel to Open All Hours, and I'm rewatching one of my favourite childhood cartoons (Alfred J. Kwak/Quack).

I'm also in the audiobook camp, especially if I'm crafting at the end of the day, my eyes are to tired to change my focus to far and near and I end up not being able to focus on my stitching. I also have some great Pandora stations (Chamber Music-Baroque or Smile.dk are my favs). My library has a ton of audiobooks available from their website so I never run out of titles.

If I do put on a movie, it is something I'm REALLY familiar with so I'm not tempted to look up every few minutes.

I've recently started watching Pokemon (watched some of it as a kid, but just really getting into Pokemon now), so I watch it. It works well as I'm working on the epic 1st gen and also working on my own Pokemon patterns to start : D

I think it's best to rewatch things that you haven't seen in a while but have an idea of the plot so you don't have to concentrate. I rewatched the first Marigold Hotel while working on my epic stitch, but when I watched two Tinkerbell movies (Secret of the Wings and Legend of the Neverbeast) for the first time I couldn't do anything but eat dinner (while sobbing like a baby at the end of Neverbeast I might add).

....I need to go make some Tinkerbell patterns now haha.

We discovered Nexflix recently, so I have been binging on the TV lately. Currently stitching to Supernatural, which has enough predictability I can craft to it, and enough plot and character to still be interesting.

Listening wise I am hooked on Christopher Tin and have two of his albums (Calling all Dawns, The Drop that Contained the Sea) playing on loop. He wrote Baba Yetu from Civ IV, and I am addicted to Mado Kara Mieru and Temen Oblak right now.

I really enjoy watching anime, but it is basically impossible for me to follow anything with subtitles while I craft... sigh. I just watched all of gravity falls and steven universe, because lets face it, I am just a sucker for cartoons. Damn cliffhangers though argh!!!

Are there any anime you do suggest watching while crafting? Because I like watching anime too, and have a hard time finding good ones that don't have subtitles.

Sometimes I give in and watch with dubs instead of subs (I know, I know). I love Soul Eater and recently watched Attack on Titan (as good as most said it would be!). I've put Sword Art Online and Fate Zero on my to watch list. Don't know if that really helps? LOL

Nice choices! The Author of Attack on Titan is actually from the town I am currently living in. My all time favourite anime is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It has a pretty good dub too. Ghibli movies are always a good choice. Steins gate was enjoyable too if you like a bit of time travel.
