So the colors for my square are not good. It has me really discouraged. Do you guys think I should start over with new colors or just do a different pattern?

RoseLight I think you will have to make the final decision on your own. Sometimes I will happily restart a piece after realizing that something is wrong but I admit there are times when I just need to walk a way from a piece. I got mad at the colours on my charity square last year (I foolishly trusted KG-chart) and was so discouraged that I didn't touch the piece again for almost a year.
It can be really satisfying to restart a piece but please don't force yourself to do it. It can take the fun out of stitching. Maybe stitch a mini project on the side before you make your decision so that you can clear your head a bit

Did my square make it to the US address okay? The penguin should have been there around the end of last week.

I don't know. Remember I live in Canada. I go to the US address just once a month and can't let you know until I do. I will be there the last week of May.

@tnitnetny -Sounds good!
@kryssiecat-I think it looks fun! It might actually tighten a little bit as you stitch...good luck!

Re: Stitching for Charity 2015
Due to some recent changes at work I'm finding myself with a lot more free time, so I've decided that this is the year I should join in on the charity quilt fun.
Here's the image I've picked from Adventures of Lolo 3. It was probably my favourite game series as a kid. I had all day yesterday free for stitching so I'm well under way with the black: I should be able to finish before the deadline, but wow, these squares seem so much bigger in person than when I'm looking at the pics of other people's squares online!

I loved adventures of Lola!!
Yeah, the pictures don't do these quilts justice and the time and effort you guys put into your squares.
