I completely agree. There were so many interesting things they did in that episode that I hardly know where to start. I will say I did like seeing Clara's life outside of the Doctor, and I'm looking forward to more Mr. Soldier Boy. He looks interesting too.

So far I do like the new doctor, but I think I prefer the MPG versions more.
Missy is very Iris the TARDIS, and it could be that when we got an all new doctor the science bending also split out a new TARDIS.
BUT seeing as she is in Heaven being the head of the church for the purple mainframe makes a lot more sense. Or the rogue group that split off to kill him.

Agreed! I hate the tune too, but the graphics are great!

Did you see the original concept on YouTube? I really liked the font they used for the actors' names. Shame that wasn't carried over too.

I'm beginning to doubt my original theory of Missy as the TARDIS with all the Promised Land stuff getting dropped now. Its all feeling a bit Bad Wolf-y in how everywhere it is, which isn't necessarily bad.

I think Missy is somehow connected to Clara. The very first episode she was in she called the Doctor her boyfriend not long after the Doctor telling Clara that he wasn't her boyfriend... I dunno, I don't know how they might be connected, but that's just my gut instinct. Considering that the Doctor is now a stranger to her (in my mind I think it's because as the Impossible Girl she only crossed his time stream in his past, Twelve didn't exist even in his own timeline) and Missy apparently has a past with the Doctor (unless, of course, she's lying...) I think Missy might be some weird doppelganger or something...

The problem with Missy as a Clara Fragment is that she doesn't look like Clara at all. Every single other one of the Clara Fragments looked like her.

I'm starting to think the theory that she has something to do with the Papal Mainframe might have the most weight to it right now. But honestly I can't wait to see if they do anything else with the fact that the Doctor recognizes his new face as one he's seen elsewhere.

So far 12 is coming across as a bit of a mixture of 3, 4 and 7 to me. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I thought it was a nice touch at the end of Robot of Sherwood that the theme of being stories (or real) came back to kinda chastise the Doctor.

I agree. I liked that too. I'm so enjoying this season so much.

Yeah, but I'm not saying she's a fragment, Clara fragmented into the Doctor's past, she knew all his past faces, but Twelve was a stranger. I'm not saying Missy is Clara, but I think that they will somehow be connected, like a dark reflection. I could be way off base, that was just my impression from her very first appearance.
