On Monday I started working at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I had been unemployed for awhile. I was a little busy helping my mom out driving her to and from cancer center.

I have worked as tech support for a major computer manufacturer for the past 5 years. I enjoy it, just get frustrated with some of the things that people say and do.

I'm a bookkeeper/office manager for a small software company. I love it, love the people, love the job... love that I can jump onto SpriteStitch when things are slow

My first job was as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. I then moved from that position to buffet attendant, greeter, and waitress. I started going to community college and got a part time job as a student assistant at the campus library and quit the restaurant job.

When I got my pre-requisite classes finished and my associate's degree in general studies and arts, I transferred to university where I held two on-campus jobs: one in the library (this time processing books) and as a helper in the clinic on campus for speech language-pathology and hearing. I loved both of those jobs as they were part interaction with the students and quiet jobs taking care and organizing materials. I then graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology w/ a minor in American Sign Language (ASL), but had to move back home to get my mind together. So I got a job at a gas station on 3rd shift and started going to school for Sign Language Interpreting, but because of low funds had to quit in January.

Now, I'm working full time at a hospital cleaning discharge rooms. It's tedious and sometimes gross, but the people are nice and I get benefits until I can figure out what my next step will be. :nod

I'm a teacher! :)

I was a jeweler, in the past, and still keep up with it. It's a really cool job, and I'd do it again.

I'm a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry. I'm working towards being a specialist in aircraft fuel pump technology, but right now I'm more of a problem solver/firefighter/investigator... type... thing. Most of the time, I really love my job, although it can be very stressful at times. My coworkers make up for the bad bits, though - I work with some really lovely, funny people.
Current projects: 'Heroes' sketch, experiments with surface embroidery.

I was in the Navy for 10 years, operating the nuclear power plants on the aircraft carriers Abraham Lincoln and George H.W. Bush, before moving into a more specialized area of radioactive waste disposal and movement near the end. I then worked for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of America for a year as a field service tech installing/repairing high end felxographic folder gluers (Cardboard box making machine), during that year I was home less than 30 days, so I moved on from there. Currently I am a a data center facility technician at Google, so you could say things are going pretty good for me now :)
