Evil geniuses in the making, both of them. We're planning on getting the older one on film at some point because it really is too funny. Got to have some leverage for when she's a teenager. Maybe if we send it to Bill Bailey he'll send her an autographed something or other. :)

When I was pregnant I used to throw things at the attractive women on the tv. So I'm pretty impressed! Also, seeing you're in Australia reminds me of the show I used to watch every day before I started working again: Australian Border Patrol! That show had me hooked! I watched every day to see the men and women of Australia's first line of defense go through bags and take people off to be x-rayed. I certainly won't ever try taking Chinese herbs into THAT country, that's for darn sure.

I'm sure I'll throw stuff at them when I actually see them lol. Border Patrol was a pretty interesting show! I can't believe the things people think they can get away with!

Did you see the one with the lady who had a wig balanced on her head with drugs underneath? Like the border guards are not going to notice that your wig is floating a few inches above your head.
Then there was the guy who tried to refuse an x-ray on 'moral grounds'. Not that he'd swallowed anything, oh no, it was the principle of the matter! Good times

I don't think I have any points against watching the show. I don't want to say too much, but I highly recommend it. I was so happy when it came back.
Welp, you've certainly sold me, now just to find it cheap...

Good old British detectives! If you liked Poirot you'll like Miss Marple, played by Geraldine Mcewan and Julia Mckenzie especially, they own it just like David Suchet owns Poirot. Julia took over when Geraldine passed away, but they cast her well, a perfect person to continue the series! Oh and the black and white ones are good too, can't recall her nane but she has a dodgy mouth and loads of humour. :) Midsomer Murders is another detective show, a bit more intense then Rosemary and Thyme, longer episodes and for longer running too.
I've seen one of the Miss Marples...I think it was Geraldine Mcewan....she was pretty old but awesome. I also watched through A Touch of Frost starring David Jason. Took me forever, but I thoroughly enjoyed the series. I'll have to look at Midsomer Murders. I've seen it around on Netflix, but didn't know anything about it.
The first series was based off some books that were adapted by Anthony Horowitz, who seems to get around (I have a myths and legends book that I only just noticed was written by him, he creeps up when you least expect him!)
I'm not too keen on the first series because of the sidekick Troy, I can't stand him or the things he says, he'd be better off as a villain) Luckily they aren't really sequential, so if you want to start with series 5 or something, that might be better.

Thanks! I think so too, but I have to because it's in the contract. (I would anyway, of course)

With our border laws, you're probably better off bringing nothing and just buying what you need here (though that's probably also suspicious...). We can't even take fruit interstate!

After the dubbed vs. subbed debate, I decided to watch through some of my anime DVD's, starting with CardCaptor Sakura 'cause I felt like something fluffy! Because my CCS DVD doesn't even have a dub (a good thing, considering how incredibly bad the dub was when it aired over ten years ago...) I watch it subbed, but it really depends on the show. I've watched Death Note in both the dub and with subs, and I like both, and I prefer Cowboy Bebop dubbed as well. But I gave up trying to craft when I watch anime ages ago - the story lines are usually far to riveting for me to look away anyhow!

Been watching Doctor Who (let's face it...no surprise there!!!) and Star Trek: Voyager. Also in the middle of Battlestar Galactica (the original, not the remake).
Going to try out a new to me show called Pie in the Sky. It sounds good, but I want to give it a try before I fork out almost $60 for all the eps. So, I've ordered the first series through Interlibrary Loan here at work.
Also going to rewatch the first season of Granite Flats before Season 2 starts next month.

My daughter is just raving about Attack on Titan and says that Netflix only has the first season and that there will be more so don't have to be so mad anymore BigDaddyWiz. :)

As for me...the family watches The Voice, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Modern Family, Mike and Molly, Face Off, Supernatural (although with it being on Tuesday it hardly ever records so we are behind on it), Doctor Who, and Sherlock religiously. We also enjoy New Girl and Raising Hope (boo on it's getting cancelled) although we are a couple of seasons behind. We all enjoy Conan as well although we tend to watch them weeks behind from our recordings since the kid and the husband don't stay up that late on week days. Without the kiddo hubby and I watch The Walking Dead, Talking Dead, Comic Book Men, Shameless (US), Game of Thrones, Hannibal, The Vampire Diaries (although we are a season behind), and Black Sails. We download QI because BBCA is lame and doesn't carry it. lol We also just started watching the new iteration of Cosmos and will probably continue to watch that as we (hubby especially) are big fans of Sagan's version. Probably others I can't remember as well. lolol

The shows that I watch by myself, or mostly by myself are Cougar Town (although hubby listens while at his comp occasionally and finds it hilarious as well), Beauty and the Beast,

As for movies...we really don't go to the theater too much (way too expensive!) but hubby and I wen to see the new Kevin Costner movie, Three Days to Kill, for our anniversary this year. Seems we have started a tradition of starting out to go see traditional anniversary/Valentine's Day movies and then changing our minds...lol We were originally going to go see A Winter's Tale but it was playing too late. Last year we were going to go see Les Miz but the kiddo wanted to see it too so we switched and saw Django Unchained instead. Wonder what next year will bring...lol Anyway, the movie was actually pretty decent considering. There was more of a plot than I thought there would be. lol Other than that, the last movie we went and saw in the theater was The Hobbit in December. Here at home, we recently bought Rocky Horror so we watched that.
