Auctioning off the second 2013 Charity Quilt

So for those that don't follow my blog, I posted this today:

There are some amazing things that will be happening in the next couple of months. The first is the work I will be doing at Awesome Con (the DC Comic Con). One of the things that was missing from the con last year was a charity presence. I brought this up to Ben (the fantastic guy that runs it) and he responded with, "well, do you want to take care of that?" I of course responded with a YES! So we will start out this first time with just a simple silent charity auction. The beneficiary of this auction will be Child's Play.

The first thing I am looking for is donations. If you have something cool lying around your house that you don't want and think it would be a great silent auction thing, let me know. I am not picky and am looking for all types of things. If you would like to make something for the auction, that would be even better! Let me know as soon as you can if you are able to donate anything.

The second thing I would like to share is about this: quiltoni.deviantart.com/art/Sp…. If you follow my blog on a regular basis you know that is the second quilt that Sprite Stitch members made for charity. I didn't say what happened to it because it was saved for Awesome Con. If you can't make it to the convention you still have a chance to bid on this awesome (pun intended) quilt. On April 2nd I will open it up for silent bids through email. I will keep the current bid of the quilt updated on my facebook as well as my twitter page. Bidding will be closed two weeks later on April 16. The highest amount that the quilt has will be the starting amount at the convention in DC. If no one outbids that internet amount, the quilt will be yours!
