Pen Pals!

Yeah, I live in a place with a lot of cool postcards, but I wasn't going to be able to find any within the timeframe due to a perfect storm of schoolwork, parenting, and spousal work issues. I'll make it up to you in the next letter, pen pal, I promise!

I sincerely doubt there are postcards for where I live! I ended up opting for a normal letter as the greeting card selection around here is also a bit rubbish, and I didn't have much time free to make my own. I hope my pen pal doesn't mind! (I did do a couple of video game doodles, if that helps... )

I had hubby mail letter yesterday while I was in bed with bad toothache. I couldn't find any postcards in my area so I wrote a rambling letter and added a recipe as a reward for putting up with my rambling.

I found post cards at a large truck stop. The pictures on them aren't really based on the area that I live in, they're from other parts of the state but I don't live close to any welcome centers.. Gotta love the boonies right? >.<

Due to my schedule getting all jacked up at work I didn't have a chance to get my letter/card into the mail yet. It will, however, be going out on monday! So never fear faithful pen pal partner, you're not forgotten.

I always thought I lived in a nice town, but it looks like it might be mission impossible to get it to look even passably nice on a postcard, so no postcards for my pen pal unless I find something, which I don't think I will unfortunately. But I do have a way around it, so expect something cute
