I mailed a letter to my pen pal today. I was writing a letter to someone so I thought I would write to the one from sprite stitch too. I just mailed a letter.

Would it be weird to include a postcard in the envelope WITH the letter? Or should I just send them separately? Is sending them in one envelope okay?

That's what I was thinking of doing, sending both a postcard and a letter in the same envelope since the post card doesn't give you all that much room to write.

Okay, glad I'm not the only one doing that! Lol I've never sent anything internationally, so this is all new to me. Even when my husband was stationed overseas I never sent anything lol (I'm a bad wife :secret )

I won't be able to mail out until maybe Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. Letter is done, now it's just a matter of getting into town to get the envelope and mail it...

Sent mine today. I probably haven't been quite as exciting as others, but hopefully it'll be appreciated nonetheless. I'll try harder next time!

I went to the post office to send mine out today. When I got back, guess what was in my mailbox?

QueenBex sent an adorable postcard, a handsomely stitched gecko card (I think it's a gecko! It's setting off my gecko-dar. Not an anole, right?), and a handwritten note of personable tone and fine penwomanship! :D Thank you, QB!~ I've got my reptile friend on display with my books, one shelf up from my prized Raktajino stitching. :nod

Wow, Bex, you went all out! Good job! To anyone who just wrote a card or letter, though, don't worry! This is just to get to know each other. I'm glad that several people have sent their stuff. Feel free to write back to the person who wrote to you, as soon as you feel like it. Just keep me up to date with what everyone is up to, so that when we assign again we can make sure everyone is happy. :)
