So here goes:
I moved from the UK to the Middle East (Dubai) last year for work. Before I moved I did quite a lot of stitching, and now I do none! I want to get back into it, when I am in Dubai all I seem to do is work, eat, sleep, and sunbathe! I need to get one of my hobbies going again.
My question to you is what shall I stitch?! I like cartoon based pictures, with black outlines. Simple bright colours that will brighten up my white apartment walls!
So recommend away....I am in the UK on holiday for 3 more weeks and then back to Dubai, where stitching supplies are cheap so the bigger the better.
Thanks in advance! H

Why don't you have a look in the colouring book thread? There's a bunch of images there that are only black outlines and you could fill them in to your heart's content with whatever colour you wish!
Or maybe Disney or other animated characters?

Thank you blackmageheart! I think I'm being slight thick, can you link me to the colouring book thread? I'm contemplating the one of the Pokemon generation patterns, although its been years since I played the games!

Here is the colouring book thread. It's a good idea.lil_hel wrote:Thank you blackmageheart! I think I'm being slight thick, can you link me to the colouring book thread? I'm contemplating the one of the Pokemon generation patterns, although its been years since I played the games!
I thought about suggesting Pokemon too, since they're certainly bright and happy. You don't necessarily have to do an entire generation at once. We have patterns of each individual Pokemon as well, so you could pick your favorites.
Are there any games or geeky things that you like in particular?
