@RMDC: I really recommend Journey, it's a very emotional experience.

EDIT: Just wanted to add that the characters' faces should be left the dark colour!

I've been working on my border all morning trying several scenarios. I wasn't sure either to put the square, x, circle and triangle by themselves and or inside the grey/black circle, to add the start and select buttons or not, maybe even L1, R1, etc. I finally made up my mind : it looks much better with the border of the button. Thats how mine will look, if I get enough time to stitch it (the moving is coming so quickly...) :funkymonkey wrote:Here's my PS3 border pattern.
Colors I picked:Spoiler
Start, select, corner thumbsticks - 3799
Other buttons - 317
Triangle - 912
Square - 210
Circle - 351
X - 598
That sounds lovely! Very cool idea. ^_^ Can't wait to see how that turns out!Ishtar wrote:I envisioned this sampler as a gaming blue willow china plate of sorts LOL

On a similar note, does anyone know if 741 is a good substitute for 740? or is there another one that works better? I have 741 but not 740... and it's been raining too much for me to walk to Hobby Lobby...
I really love the idea!! I can't wait to see the final result!Ishtar wrote:*sobs* I haven't had time to start yet and we are already starting week three!
I have finished my last project tonight about an hour ago (aka 11:30pm). I guess I need to see about doing this, this week.
My original plan was to try an turn everything into shades of blue, but I tried some on a scrap piece (might not have been smart to use 28ct over one) and it didn't look great. Will have to get material and see if it was just the shades I chose =s
*sits in corner pondering*
