hey I need help from you guys.
So i have been wanting to make Epic Pokemon Gen 1 pattern
but im still not sure on the amount of thread i need to buy for each color any suggestion?

You can always start at one skein of each color, and buy more thread when necessary. That's what I usually do.

I would say you could use 1 of each skein for each colour, except for the following:
157 - 2/3 skeins
310 - 4/5 skeins
3865 - 2 skeins
I don't know how others do it, but my rule of thumb for 18 count aida is 2500 stitches to one skein of thread.

my rule of thumb is to always buy way too much. you can always use it for another project, and going to the store again takes way more time and money in gas than just buying a few extra skeins.

I found this chart a while ago that estimates how many stitches you'll get per skein of floss depending on your fabric count and number of strands used:
