You can definitely send them both at the same time, I was just getting a little nervous because I haven't seen any of them yet.Yurtle wrote:I just started my second square. Fingers crossed that I can have it done in a month or so and then I'll pop both in the mail at once. Hope that's okay! If you want my first one now, just let me know.

Anyways, I finally completed my fourth square, second for the FF project. Please let me know what you think!

I'm doing my best to get as many done as I can, though

Oh wow, that is absolutely amazing!! I am so excited to get working on these!!
On another note, I am getting my quilt business together and going to start up a website, facebook, and selling at conventions. So I will hopefully get some more attention on the quilts for the bidding once we are ready to sell them.

Re: Stitching for Charity! (brainstorming)
Hey folks. I have a little bit of potentially bad news. I think my trying to blitz all my squares has made me mess up my wrist a little so I've had to take a huge break from stitching and I think this means I won't be able to finish my second square. I have a friend who has offered to help me out and work on it but she hasn't cross-stitched for a few years so I'm not sure how likely it'll be that the square is done in time. I'm sorry!! I'll still hold out sending the one until closer to the deadline with the hope that I'll be able to send both but I thought I would let you know now, just in case.

Re: Stitching for Charity! (brainstorming)
I finally got around to making the image that I want to stitch. Just want to hear what you guys think. I still need to turn it into a pattern.
Since my exams are almost over I should have plenty of time to stitch it up in time. I will be going to Vancouver, Canada for the last two weeks of July so I'm planning on sending it from there. It's a lot closer to the USA than the Netherlands so that should save me money on postage.

I like it! Also yay Stardrifter!
For those that had to drop out and aren't able to complete their stitches, don't worry. We have had enough people step in and make more squares. Worse case scenario, I make 1 quilt instead of 3. We will still accomplish our goal and get at least 1 quilt done that we can auction off and donate the proceeds to charity.
