@Neenee: You should start him with plastic canvas. That's how my mom got me interested. That way, you don't have to worry about the small needles and all that. :)

I actually am doing that, I've picked him up some and am going to help him figure out what to do with it. ^_^

Unfortunately, no. :(
My talents are pretty much limited, at the moment, to C++, PHP, Perl, and ABAP. I've really never dealt much with Macs aside from a graphic design gig I had a few years back.

In my university, I believe I am one of 3 girls who is actually pursuing a Computer Science degree. We have other girls in and out of programming classes that go with their math majors, and occasionally, we have a few international students who stick around for a year or two.

In the IT business I work at, there are approximately 40 employees total: 4 developers (including myself) are female, 2 of our 3-person QA are female, and 3 of our 5 bosses are female.

I'm 25 and played a few games when I was younger on sega and ps1 but got back into gaming through my boyfriend a few years ago. As for cross stitching I've only been doing that for about 6 months and that was mainly due to subversive cross stitch. Then I stumbled across spritestitch and never looked back lol :D

I'm 21 and female..I've been playing video games all of my life on every console from the Atari to the Ps3..in fact we still have most of them lol..But just started cross stitching about four months ago when I found this site. It has been my inspiration to mix my passion for crafts and for video games. <3!

And, I also got my hubby into cross-stitching video game patterns.

Wow, I guess the split is different in the real world compared to the video games world.
