I had to save that because it is so accurate. Swap out the black hair for red hair and the black thread for green thread and that was me two nights ago.

BAHAHAHAHA thats sooooooo true. i hate when i have missed counted and have to take it all out, or i just say fkit and figure out how to input it into the pattern, Not like any one counts each stitch, a to find mistakes and laugh in your face.

starting!
sounds strange but i never know where to start!
my current picture i started in the corner and worked around the edge into the middle using the first colour in the 10x10 square.
then the next colour and next and.......
in some form of geek protest im gonna use 310 last!!!
hahahaha take that 310!

I guess I'm in the minority, too, because backstitching is a-okay with me! I HATE/LOATHE/ABHOR KNOTS!!!!!!!! Did you guys get that? It seems that no matter what I do, there is a knot every 5 stitches! I can definitely relate to stardrifter's comic all too well!

When I let my twisting thread spin and spin and spin and spin but it still kinks up so I sew stitches anyway only to realize there's a funny knot on the back several stitches behind that I can't cut out because I'm doing it over waste canvas on a shirt and can't have the floss getting loose and I have to go back and pick out the knot and untwist it and then redo the stitches only to realize I'm twisting again..... Than I look to my right to see my beeswax that I didn't wax the floss with before hand because I thought, "Hey! It's a small project. Let's get right to stitching!!"

Link and Triforce Square = 56% complete.
Kanto Map = 60% complete.
Hetalia sprites for Xmas presents. Other projects will be put on hold until these are done. Shouldn't take long though. :3

I love backstitching, actually. For me, it's easier then counting out all the single stitches. And it makes the whole piece look cooler.
I hate French Knots. I've been told, and shown, and read how-tos about them, but I still can't do them. I think, at one point in time, I just used a regular knot and made it look nice.
It's also very frustrating when I have to rip out stitches. Just had to do that earlier on my Nintendo Sampler.
