Pattern Request for Crest and Font

Hey, this is my first font! I was hoping for a cross stitch pattern. I'm planning on cross stitching these patterns, adding them onto pillows, and giving them to my fraternity's executive board, but I have no idea how to make patterns. They're all the same, just with different lettering, but I have them centered and sized the way I'd like. I've never undertaken something like this (only doing kits before) so any advice is appreciated! I'd like for them to be about 1 ft to 1.5 ft in height and roughly square? Again, never done this so not sure! No real limit on colours -- there aren't a whole lot in the design anyway.

I've completed a crest pattern for you, and i do have some advice for you. First, some advice: you can always look online for different cross stitch fonts, and if you want them resized, i'd b glad to do that for you. Secondly, on the crest, it's approximately sized to your specifications, and it uses only two colors: 310 (black), and 321 (dark red), stitched on 18ct Aida fabric. Attached is the .sth file and a chart. Again, there's only 2 colors, so i'm not gonna post a color chart, unless you want one. Let me know if you want fonts, and what you think.
