How would you change this?

I want to stitch this picture:

I imported it into KG Chart and made it the size I want. Do you think it looks okay the way it is? What changes or tweaks would you make? Thank you.

Your pattern looks great! I love Mutts, so this is going on my pile of patterns to do - I modified it a bit, put in the red (pink?) for the nose and collar, took out the background stitching (I HATE stitching backgrounds unless I absolutely have to...) and edited the colors down to 8.
