Robot Cat's Game Projects

Post by robotcat »

Just posting to share a few of the game-themed projects I've done. They're tiny compared to my one large WIP, but on their own I think they're sort of medium. Okay, some of them are outright tiny. ^^;

From Final Fantasy Brigade, Lightning and Zack. Lightning has a patch that I can't unsee no matter how much time passes. Zack was supposed to be fully colored, but I changed my mind. When characters "join" you (or joined, since the US version was abandoned) they flicker white before they appear. I might go back and make a full one someday...

Um... so I'm a Final Fantasy junkie. >_>; I'm trying to use up an experiment in painting aida, so that's why Sephiroth is on pink. As for the sampler, I keep a small case in my purse with 1-inch squares of aida and patterns for when I've got ten minutes to kill here and there.

(Edit: Tumblr changed a bunch of image URLs. Links updated!)

I love these! The FFB ones are awesome and the mini ones are really good too!

OH MY GOD THESE ARE SO GREAT :wiz

I totally want to stitch that Sephiroth piece, and Cloud looks so chill, like "o hey, I just finished my sampler guys". :D

Thanks, guys! ^^ Several people liked the Sephiroth one, so I put the pattern online. http://chrislea.deviantart.com/art/Stit ... -505074174
It's not a great pattern since it was rushed, but hopefully its simplicity makes up for that. ^_^;

I've been doing more of the little bitty ones. Of course more Final Fantasy characters. (I swear I have other interests! R-really!)

These little squares have turned into an army! From hobbits to sailor scouts and half a dozen FF characters in between! I've decided to interface them and add pinbacks to make them into brooches, but I'm waiting until I have a bunch to do it all in one go. I've never interfaced cross stitch before. I hope it'll stick!

That pile of minis is epic! But now you gotta show us the individual squares!
