NES Sampler Quilt a Long

I know I didn't officially state it yet. so here I go: I AM SO IN!

Got my sewing machine up and running and started practicing with my rotary cutter/mat. I'm hoping to find some good sales on fabric closer to/on Black Friday.

Yay! Though if you go to JoAnns, leave an hour to wait in the fabric line, this time of year :-/

Totally. I've been through the cutting line twice in the past 2 weeks and it was an easy 30 minutes each time.

I learned not to go while on my lunch break (everyone goes then!).

Or, if you have more time, you get a number, then shop, then you have less time to wait in line. I always wanted mine to open an express line. 5 or fewer items, something like that.

I will be up for having a go at this once I get my sewing machine at the end of the month, this will be my very first quilt.

I hope you won't all mind a barrage of questions =D

Any recommendations for fabric suppliers in the UK?

Plushaddict.co.uk has a bunch of kona solid fabrics. Not sure how good they are though.

Kona is all I use for solids and backings. It is a fantastic fabric.
