Mario Coasters

I know, pretty typical project, but my girls love them - they requested most of them. There's two others that aren't here - a 1-Up mushroom and a ! block. My husband requested the spiny; that's the coaster he keeps on his desk.

Most of these are made of IKEA PYSSLA beads, which really suck. Mario and Luigi are made with actual perlers.

I like them! The backgrounds/borders really make them stand out! :good:

Thanks. :) Not so easy when you're restricted to 10 colours!

Cool! I've made a bubble bobble set as well. do u hot glue cork coaster backs onto them? I do because then moisture wont seep thru the perler bead holes. :good:

The only one I put a backing on was one that I made for my husband at work; I put sticky-back felt on the back. I HAVE a roll of cork around here, but I can't find it... when I do I'll put it on the backs of the coasters.

Here it is, if you want to see it. :) Apologies for the photo quality - his phone doesn't take very nice close shots.
