Pattern/DMC help?

I hope this is in the right place...

I've finished a pattern and I'm just about ready to stitch - I went out to buy the DMC threads that KG-Lite told me to, and I think that one of them is wrong. I've attached the pattern so you can see. I'm concerned about the trim on his robe, which KG says is DMC 939, but that is a dark navy colour, which looks nothing like the colour in the pattern.

I've had this problem with another pattern as well - am I doing something wrong, or is this just a flaw in the program that I need to be aware of? And if the colour is actually wrong, do you have any suggestions for a replacement?

Warning - pattern contains pixelated gore.

Thanks in advance :)

Do you have the source image you used to make the pattern?

Yep, here's the image I input into KG and then modified from within the program.

Usually when I create a pattern, I don't really care about the DMC numbers KGchart gives me. I just put the colors that look right on my screen (or that I happen to already have, because I'm cheap...), and then in my favorite craft shop, I select the real colors I need. Sometimes the KG colors look perfect, sometimes I pick another number because it doesn't look the same on screen and for real. Trust your eyes and you'll be fine. :D
