Sprite Stitch Board!

Okay soo I have this pattern that I got off the Internet and i really like it.. But I can't seem to find a bigger size for it since the finished product would be about 5 by 3 1/2 inches with it being 67x48 stitches on 14 count Aida.. Soo I want to make it way bigger than that.. Soo would it be okay to double up on squares.. Like instead of going over one square you would go over four like in a box shape.. If that makes sense..Or would be too difficult? Im open to any opinions and/or advice..

Since it's relatively small to begin with, I'd say just double up the pixels (2x2 like you said) manually -- I've yet to encounter a program that'll do it accurately.
