Sprite Stitch Board!

Hey all.

I've been doing some stitchings for my brother and sisters for Christmas. They were intended to be coasters as I had some acrylic coasters waiting for inserts, however, the coasters won't close on the designs as the stitched areas are too thick ;_;
This would not normally be a problem but I got over-enthusiastic about one of the designs and cut it down to size, not anticipating that it might not fit
So, I'm sort of stuck for ideas on how to rescue the little guy, it's a sprite on piece of 22ct evenweave that now measures 9cm x 9cm. I don't have a pic of it right now but can get one tomorrow. I know I could frame it but I was hoping to do something a little different than my usual stitch>frame>give.

I'd be really grateful for any ideas!

Make a tiny pillow? And attach a loop of ribbon to a corner.
Instant Ornament.

Or make a patch out of it to be attached to clothing, a bag, or whatever.

Or you could make a card out of it. I've seen that done with stitches before. But I don't know how that works. Gluing it to cardstock and embellishing with buttons or ribbon?

Dunno. Out of ideas now. =/

Thanks Sirinth, think I'm gonna go with the tiny pillow thing, sounds like the best idea for this thing. I just hope it turns out ok
