Help with PC Stitch
I've been using KG-Chart for a while now, but I just downloaded the PC Stitch Pattern Viewer so that I could use some of the wonderful patterns people have posted in this forum. However, every time I try to open a pattern I get "Error Code -1 opening [file]". I'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix it, and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Help with PC Stitch
I have the full version of PC Stitch 9 and it bugs out a lot.
I would try uninstalling then reinstalling it.
Perhaps making sure you have the newest version or even find an older one if you can?
It is very buggy software sometimes unfortunately.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling - no luck. It does open the sample patterns from the site that came with the program, just not anything else. Do you have thoughts about where I could find an older version to try? Thanks for the suggestions!

I think it's something to do with the way the file is saved. I'm not at home at the moment so I can't check. I think you have to export the file as a basic pcstitch file.

Re: Help with PC Stitch
I emailed Mark Miller at PCStitch, and was told that the patterns are saved in the version 9 format, which is not yet supported by the Pattern Viewer. Hopefully there will be an update sometime!
