to follow through on my response to Iwan's request for the patterns on my super street fighter 2 post...
attached are .pdfs for patterns of the character portraits from the vs screen. images can be found here: http://www.sfgalleries.net/art/ssf2/series1/ (don't get confused by balrog, vega, and m. bison; they're named according to the japanese release of the game)
also included are the character names as they appear on the vs screen.
i used the advanced pattern maker at mphotostitch.com to generate the .pdfs
here is a sample of a page from the blanka pattern:
the patterns with the names have an extra color (DMC 159) that is unnecessary; i added it to my original images so that color 311 (the background) would get the empty square icon instead of the filled in circle icon to save myself some ink when i printed them out.
the character portraits measure 128 x 112, which comes out to about 9" x 8" on 14 ct aida.
the capital letter in each character's name is 15 pixels tall, so each name measures just over 1" in height on 14 ct aida, and the longest names get to about 7" in width
pictures of the completed patterns can be seen here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3653
