You Complete Me ~Redux~ (L Tetris heart)
Posted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 5:01 pm
Pattern FYI:
- Dimensions: 110 W x 131H stitches 7.86" x 9.36" on 14 count.
- Pattern made on a grey background so that the white stitches are easy to see.
- Quarter stitches are used for the words at the top so I suggest NOT using Aida cloth.
- Tetrinos are outlined with one strand of black thread.
- .PDF and .pat formats now available.
Finished piece FYI:
- I stitched it on a 28 count, white, even-weave cotton fabric. Stitched 2-over-1, with two strands of floss.
- Instead of using all solid colors I substituted some variated threads which looked great.(see the photo)
jadeskies and I were evidently on the same wave length at some point because I too also recently stitched a Tetris heart.
Mine is a "re-do" of the "You Complete Me" pattern that was posted here a while back. I took the original idea but changed almost everything so that it would work as a wedding gift for a pair of friends.
There are 2 incomplete tetrinos (-gasp-), I kept them because they helped me balance the colors across the entire heart. So sue me :P I never was all that good at Tetris :P
edit: Post updated with PDF and dimensions to conform with new guidelines (and I have acrobat now!)
