My first pattern ever! Dr.Mario/House mash up

Ok, so this is my first ever attempt at making a cross stitch pattern...so be nice, but mean ^.^ I used myphotostitch.com to make the pattern, and spent a couple hours cleaning up the original picture so it wouldn't look terrible. Please, any tips, hints, constructive criticism is welcome.
P.S. Sorry for the weird order of the attachments, I'm still getting used to this site ^.^

I love this! It looks really great, and had you never said anything, I wouldn't know it was your first created pattern.

Awe, thanks for the encouragement you guys!! Last night I found a pattern maker program that already looks a great deal better than the one online. I'm going to touch it up in there and post the comparison.

Haha, this is great! And you really did a great job cleaning it up - it's not easy to get a sketchy base image like that one to look good as a pattern, so well done!

Thanks so much! I like this program I got (pcstitch) I can actually fiddle with the pattern, as opposed to what you see is what you get with the website pattern creator I used, So I'm fixing this up so there's fewer colors used, once I figure out how to make the completed pattern into a pdf I'll post that one too.
