To Victory! Doctor Who pattern

Post by Goldengurl »

So I've started this pattern that you can find for free here.

of this picture I attached.

This is the first part of the top. I have to fix a few stitches, but I'm super excited about it!

I love that poster series, but I figured it would be too difficult to get good resolution in cross stitch. Looks like you're proving me wrong!

I'm working on this pattern right now. about 1/3 of the way done. Incredible amounts of single color blocks! The mindless stitching has worked out well - it's let me concentrate on watching The Doctor on Netflix

Love this! I actually have this on a mug I received for Christmas. It makes me feel victorious when I drink out of it. :D

Found this on Reddit the other day and I want to do it as well. A big poster size one would be awesome for the wall! :)

Yours looks great!

I thought I post my process thus far. I've finished with the lettering, and have decided since the background will take me forever that I would start focusing on the Dalek for now.

I've been going through so many patterns trying to figure something to do for my boyfriend for Christmas, that I can actually finish by Christmas. I'm going to try doing this one! It sounds crazy, I know, but I have a good 10-13 hours a day I can devote to sewing mindlessly large blocks of color while pursuing a passive activity...like audiobooks...and tv...or the downtime at a night shift...
