Anyone else think it's funny that the Pattern is turning into a full on WIP before I can even start stitching it? Here's more of a preview:

Those little black spots between cities? If you look at the original map, it's a symbol for grasslands. It looks better up close, I swear.

Ok, another country finished! I'm actually intimidated by the Imperial city area, so that might be last. Hope you like the progress!

Oh, about the color change: this way you can see the words better and I can go outside the black borders. For the real cross-stitching, though, I intend to use gold and silver metallic threads so that the words will really stand out from the background.
