I actually didn't mean do the stitch along as a competition. I meant do it INSTEAD of a competetion. That way those of us that like to do the competitions don't have to choose between the stitch along and the competition. I am already working on 3 projects at the moment, I don't mind adding one more every other month for the comps, but 2 more would be overwhelming.

I also wouldn't mind doing something with Moggles, I have a friend that is obsessed with them and wouldn't mind making her something.

the only way to get better is by practice and this seems like it will be some good practice here for you.

Well I cross-stitch pretty much everyday as I’m working to finish my first project …however, it has a lot of mistakes in it and is generally not very good.

Anything I stitch would be shamed by everyone else’s. I’ll keep practicing and eventually contribute something. Until then, I certainly enjoy seeing everyone else's projects :nod

I think the stitch along would be a good place to begin showing your work, build up your confidence and all that :)
I used to be so ashamed of showing my stuff until a friend of mine told me that without sharing, you will never know how good you are, or how good you can be :D

Thanks for the encouragement! Maybe I'll get out the camera this weekend and take a pic of my progress. :D

I don't have any suggestions of what to do, but I have suggestions of what not to do. No Mario, Sonic, or Kirby. I just think they are too overdone XD

I still vote moogles, but if people want it a little more broad we could do final fantasy VI since you can actually play as a moogle, or just final fantasy... long live the moogle... :moog

I have never played any of the FInal Fantasy games but love the Moogle idea...sold me on the total cuteness!

I would love to participate in a stitch along! Will be waiting to see what everyone decides on!

I've only played FF1 so I've never seen a Moogle before reading this post. But when it comes to cuteness I've always thought Lemmings were adorable.

Whatever theme we pick this sounds like fun, count me in.
