mobile site up!

Ironically, part of the reason my last post in this thread sounded so terse was that I was posting from my tablet - being reduced to one-finger typing somewhat reduces my verbosity. I simply wanted to report my preferred usage for the purpose of data aggregation. I absolutely don't want to denigrate the hard work johloh or anyone else is putting into the forums or the site as a whole!

What RMDC said....by saying it was missing something I didn't mean to downplay the amount of work and effort put into this at all and I realize that mobile sites are supposed to drop the bells and whistles for usability. I am very impressed and grateful to be able to view the posts in a normal sized text on my phone. Great job, Johloh!

Nor do I! I do like the mobile site, it's pretty quick on my phone and everything is readable. When I said there was something missing, I wasn't talking about actual things from the site, more a lack of...something intangible that I'm not sure of. I know that's not really helpful but eh.

I love the look of the mobile site a lot actually but when i log in it takes me to the full site so i can't use the mobile site to reply to posts. It does it on both safari and chrome on my 5s. It could be user error. When i delete board cookies and redo it it does the same thing though.

My 5s also boots me out whenever I log in so I'm just using the full site. I did like what I saw of the mobile site though.

<Edit> I only use chrome on my iphone.

Glad it's not just me that this is happening to! I log in using the mobile site, then am suddenly back to using the full site (Samsung tablet using Internet Explorer).

I like being able to see whole posts without having to zoom and scroll! The only thing I wish you could do is access private messages, or did I miss that somehow?

I'll have to figure out why it boots people out when you login, thats weird.
