Hey. I know I haven't been around for such a long time... Started a new job, so that takes up all my time... But I was wondering if someone could take a look at this picture and help clean it up for me in KG Chart? I've tried, but my brain doesn't work quite as well as it used to these days. XD My best friend is moving away in 4 months time, and i'm going to be working my ass off to try and get this done for him. If you could help, that would be amazing...
It can be any size, but i'll be working on 16ct. And I haven't really got a colour limit... Just nothing too over the top XD

I'd be more than happy to try to create this for you... I was actually thinking of stitching him myself.

(going to work on pattern now, update should be soon)

Hello!
(I'll do a quick summary before all of this typing because I am horribly prone to typing papers.)
Size - 24" x 25"
Number of colors - 29
I had trouble getting this smaller, but I think the pattern looks okay at 24" x 25" (190 x 206 stitches) on 16 count which is quite large and quite a bit of work. (I know sometimes I go 'oh, I'm fine with it big' and then when I measure it out on my aida I go

and have to reduce the size

) Just say if you're unhappy with it.
His eyes are what are giving me the most trouble.. No matter how large I make the pattern they just wont become visible! I tried editing them a bit and I think it looks a little better but I'd try out a few different options on scrap or something to figure it out.
The colors in his robe seem a bit off.. KG is reading them as green/blue tones instead of greys but I'm afraid to play around with it too much because I don't have the actual threads handy. I'd say to print out the original picture and bring it with you when you shop for thread; there aren't too many colors (most of them are for his hair haha) so that might work better. Let me know if there's any way I can help you with changing the colors or anything but I want to be safe with it.
I didn't do any MAJOR editing (see above

) but I did clean up quite a few stray things. There shouldn't be too much 'confetti stitching' but if you really wanted you could probably get away with a few less colors.
I'm sure there are others out there who could do much better so all feel free haha but I tried my best and I hope it isn't too terrible *hides*.

Good luck with your stitching and when you do make it post pictures!

So I decided to try my hand at it and this is what I came up with.
And the PDF just in case you can't open it with KG Chart.
It's still the same size as the one half-stitched did but the lines are a little bit clearer along with the eyes. Either way you get to choose.
