Janeway from Voyager

Post by I<3Corn »

I just want a little Captain Janeway sprite like the Next Gen picture below. I can find ones for Next Gen, the original Star Trek, and DS9 but nothing from Voyager! Anyone that could help me I would greatly appreciate it because I want to use it for a gift for a friend. Thanks so much!

I used the Dr. Crusher sprite as a template and this is what I came up with. What do you think?

I love the comm badge you added! It'll be well received for sure. :)

Very cute! And I love that you went with the later shoulder-length do, instead of the granny bun that she had at first! I know they were going for more of a turn-of-the-century look, but it was no bueno.
Good job!

Just noticed this, but what the bleep is going on with the Troi pattern? Doesn't look right at all!

I think they were trying to convey her curvy hips! :)

Thanks for the good words! I'm pretty happy with what I came up with. The only part that bugs me is the comm badge. It's okay but perfectionist me thinks it could have been executed better. I'd never worked with the specialty silver and gold thread before and didn't know it was so difficult to work with.

I've shown it to the person I'm giving it to and she loves it. So much so that she's insisting on paying me something even though this project was not only intended as a gift but a total surprise to her.

I agree that the Troi sprite looks weird. I know they were trying to give her curves but, at least to me, looks kind of wonky.

The metallic threads are an absolute horror, I agree! I've seen people recommend a product called 'thread magic' or something along those lines, but I haven't used it yet. Apparently it really helps.
