Sprite Stitch Board!

I want to make legend of zelda design but I don't know how to make them.
I have seen on google the amazing works some people have done, like world maps of hyrule and very detailed zeldas.
If anyone could help me with a design that would be great. I would love to make designs of Zelda or the oracles from seasons and ages.

You should start with 2 basic questions:

• How big do I want it? or how large am I willing to go? - this means number of total stitches more than dimensions since the fabric's stitch count determines the final dimensions.
• How many colors? or How complex or simple should it be?

Really you should have that cleared away before posting a request for someone to convert images into patterns as it saves time...

sorry I am new to the whole making design thing. I would say 30 different threads at the most but I want to pictures to still look like how they should.
98 by 77 at the largest
50 by 40 at the smallest.

Thank you. What program do you use? That way I am not continually making these requests.
